All new premises for BlackFrog Studios

After two years at Queens Close, BlackFrog Studios have finally opened their new studio at Station Yard, Thame.

At almost 2,700 sqr foot, this new facility boasts two live rooms, a mixing room, vocal booth and a huge lounge area that includes pool table, arcade games, sofas and vending machines.

Live Room 2 operates as the main rehearsal room and consists of a fully fitted PA system, Roland digital drum kit, mics and mic stands.

At 50m sqr, Live Room 1 can host all but the biggest of bands and is fitted with a pro-audio PA system. This is the main recording room for live instruments, but can also be hired out as a larger rehearsal space.

The Mixing Room has all the very latest recording technology. Running Cubase, BlackFrog Studios implements both on-board and out-board effects and processors to ensure that the best sound is always delivered.

Situated upstairs, the Live Lounge is the ultimate space to relax and write music in. Open to all, this area is designed for rehearsing bands and local musicians to work on new songs, chat and socialise.
