Short Stack is a pint-sized but peppy independent book publisher. 2008 saw the launch of our fantastic new series: The How to Handles. Including How to Handle your Dog, from which the audio book was recorded at Blackfrog Studios in 2009. Local Band Palahniuk have Just finished recording their latest EP ‘Industry’ recorded at Blackfrog Studios in April 2011. ‘Industry’ EP is available now from there website and all good retail stores and download websites.

Nikki King…A Solo Singer for all Occasions

Nikki King is a solo artist with flair and she not only sings beautifully, but engages with her audience. Nikki sings accompanied by a repertoire of 100’s of professional pre-recorded songs – no need for masses of space for a 5 piece band with no volume control! She is a dynamic solo singer with a diverse range of songs from the fifties to the noughties and is an instant success wherever she performs.

1st Thursday Music Club

A free, relaxed open mic night in Thame in a great room, set up and run by local musicians to allow everybody a chance to perform in front of a supportive audience.
The club runs on the first Thursday of every month from 8:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. at the Stables, behind the James Figg Public House, 21 Cornmarket, Thame, Oxon. OX9 2BL. Acts play 15 minute/ 3 song slots. Walk ups please bring your instruments and sign up from 7:45 p.m. for a slot between 8:00 and 10:00 p.m.

Haunted Tranquillity

Metalcore/screamo band from Aylesbury with a few softer songs for all the easy listeners. recently entered live and unsigned 2011 go to the final at the 02. Haunted Tranquillity recently recoreded their debt EP at Blackfrog Studios Ltd, Thame.
